Our goal at Room & Board is to build great spaces that perform well for residents, owners, investors and neighbors. We believe that every property has a best use and it takes a combination of art and science to guide, negotiate, model, design, construct, and manage it to its full potential.

Chris has been working in building and real estate for near 20 years. He cut his teeth as a construction manager with Habitat for Humanity in Baltimore, renovating boarded up rowhouses in the city. He has worked with non-profit and for-profit developers, been a licensed contractor, owns several rental properties, and has masters degrees in architecture and business. His superpower is developing a vision for an underperforming space and putting a financially-sound plan together to create it. He also applies that same vision for spreadsheets and financial models, which are design projects themselves.
